Movie goers in California paid for more than just movie when rats were noticed in the theater. A county health inspector visited the theater and found rodent feces in and around it, but nothing was observed in the food preparation areas. The manager indicated that there was remodeling taking place and that may have caused the issue.
Since we are amidst rodent season, can you properly identify rodent droppings?
Mouse droppings are approximately the size of a grain of rice, dark and pointed at both ends.
Norway rat droppings are about 3/4" with blunt ends.
Squirrel droppings are the size of a dried bean ranging in colors from black, brown, or even greenish.
Bat droppings look like black grains of rice just a little large. When touched, they break apart into a powdery substance.
Fresh droppings are moist, soft, glisten and look wet. Once, the droppings begin to harden which usually takes a few days to week, they appear dull. Rat droppings become gray, dusty and crumbly whereas mice become hard and whitish.
