• Light yellow to reddish brown in color.

• Approximately 1/16 of an inch in size.

• Infestations commonly occur in food areas.

• Nests are located in protected areas within a structure, but they will also nest outdoors.

Maybe you're seeing pavement ants:

• Dark brown to black in color.

• 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch in size.

• Known for making their colonies in the cracks of pavement but commonly found foraging for food inside homes.

Or could it be small ants:

• Dark brown, black or jet-black in color.

• Range from 1 – 4 millimeters in length.

• They build nests in areas such as woodwork voids, rotting logs, cracks in cement, lawns and walls.
