What do Flying Squirrels look like?
Flying squirrels do not actually fly but glide from tree to tree or roof top to roof top. They have gray-brown fur on the top and sides of their body and gray or white fur on their under-belly. Depending on the species they can range in size from 8-12 inches in length. Flying squirrels have very large, black eyes that provide them with good night vision.
