• You have small blood stains on your sheets and/or cushions.

• You see tiny dark spots on your walls or furniture where bed bug excrement is.

• There is an unfamiliar sweet smell in your home. When bed bugs collect in large numbers, they release a sweet odor.

• You see a dead bed bug in your home, especially in the seams of furnishings and mattresses.

• When you wake up in the morning, you have small bites on your back or shoulders.

Bed bug bites are usually evidenced by a line of little red bumps that are extremely itchy. Don’t scratch because scratching bed bug bites can lead to an infection.
